Company History
Brickhouse Structural Engineering Ltd. is an amalgamated Alberta corporation, of Brickhouse Structural Engineering and Grant Structural Engineering, which was established in 1997. We are a structural engineering consulting firm operated by Jim Shortt, P.Eng. and Michael
Brickhouse Structural Engineering Ltd. is registered to practice in Alberta. We carry standard Professional Liability Insurance.

Brickhouse Structural Engineering Ltd. We invest time in our design, as well as, attention to detail to ensure economical construction, minimal maintenance, long life and limited environmental impact. We do this while providing the optimum level of building performance required by our clients.
Brickhouse Structural Engineering Ltd. emphasizes an efficient, non-structured design team to ensure excellent response to the needs of the client. Each project we do is headed by one of the partners that is involved through to the project completion. We believe this service and ongoing communication with our client are the cornerstones of a successful project.

review, and client liaison. Responsible for supervising drawing production.
